Are you authorized by Brush / Siemens Energy?
No. TEMISA Power Gen is an INDEPENDENT multi-OEM workshop — not a Brush or Siemens Energy authorized representative. Brush is now part of Siemens Energy Brush Power Generation (since 2015 acquisition). We service Brush BDAX generators using IEC 60034 + IEEE 56 + EASA AR100 — the same international standards Brush uses in its factories. Independent service is fully compatible once outside original OEM warranty.
What Brush BDAX series do you service?
We service the full Brush BDAX range and modern equivalents: BDAX 7 (legacy, large installed base in MX sugar mills, 5-15 MVA), BDAX 8 (newer line, 5-25 MVA), MMX series (modern Brush 2015+ platform 5-25 MVA). For AVR: legacy Dax8 + modern MMX digital platform. For excitation: brushless rotor + diode bridge service standard.
Can you service Brush BDAX mid-harvest emergency in sugar mills?
Yes. 24/7 emergency service mid-harvest is critical for Mexican sugar industry. Mobilization within 24 hours to mill site. Typical field repair scope: brushless rotor inspection + brush gear + AVR diagnosis + bearing service. For major faults requiring rotor/stator extraction, we coordinate emergency transport to Tlajomulco workshop. Sugar mill standby generators sometimes available as temporary replacement during major repair.
What's the typical timeline for Brush BDAX major overhaul off-season?
Typical 5-15 MVA Brush BDAX major overhaul: 6-10 weeks workshop including disassembly, NDT inspection, rewind if needed, balance, dielectric testing CFE LAPEM W4200-12, reassembly, commissioning. For sugar mill cogeneration, full overhaul is scheduled in May-October window (post-harvest) to ensure ready-to-operate before next harvest (November-December).
