As an independent multi-OEM workshop, TEMISA Power Gen services ABB generators throughout their full life cycle — beyond OEM warranty — under the same international standards (IEC 60034, IEEE 56/115/421, EASA AR100) used by ABB itself.

Are you an authorized ABB service representative?
No. TEMISA Power Gen is an INDEPENDENT multi-OEM workshop — we are not an authorized representative of ABB. We service ABB generators using the same international standards (IEC 60034, IEEE 56, EASA AR100) that ABB applies in its own factories. Once your generator is outside ABB's original warranty period (typically 2-5 years), you can use any certified independent workshop without affecting the asset's value or insurance.
What ABB generator lines do you service?
We service the full ABB synchronous generator range: AMS series (cylindrical rotor, 1-50 MVA), SM series (salient-pole, 1-150 MVA), SP series (large salient-pole, 50-350 MVA). For excitation: UNITROL 1000/1010/5000/6000 series. For AVR: digital and analog Vista-class controllers. Our team has trained on ABB documentation including Generator Service Manual (GSM) standardized format.
How long does an ABB major overhaul typically take?
Typical timelines: 1-10 MVA → 4-6 weeks workshop. 10-50 MVA → 6-10 weeks. 50-150 MVA → 8-12 weeks. 150-350 MVA → 10-14+ weeks depending on stator rewind scope. We provide a formal schedule on quotation review including critical-path activities and procurement timeline for any imported parts.
Can you fabricate ABB spare parts locally when OEM lead time is 32+ weeks?
Yes — within scope. For stator windings, rotor field coils, brush gear, AVR boards and excitation components, we manufacture compliant replacements in our Tlajomulco workshop in 8-14 weeks (vs 32-52 weeks OEM lead time from Sweden/India). All locally-fabricated parts are tested under EASA AR100 + CFE LAPEM W4200-12 with traceability ISO 9001:2015. For specialized OEM-proprietary components we coordinate procurement on your behalf.
