Industrial Turbomachinery Service

Independent multi-OEM workshop for steam + gas turbines, centrifugal pumps + compressors under API 612 / 616 / 670, ISO 10816 + 21940, ASME PTC 6. Dynamic balancing G2.5, laser alignment with thermal growth, vibration FFT, bearing diagnosis.

Workshop capabilities

Specialized turbomachinery service

Industrial turbomachinery downtime costs are typically 10x the repair cost. We design service interventions to minimize critical-path downtime while ensuring full API + ISO compliance.

  • Steam turbine overhaul under API 612 with rotor reblading, packing replacement, valve seat machining
  • Gas turbine hot-section inspection + repair under API 616 — combustion + transition + turbine sections
  • Dynamic rotor balancing G2.5 class under ISO 21940 in single + dual-plane configurations
  • Vibration analysis FFT under ISO 10816-2 with cascade plots, order analysis, modal identification
  • Bearing diagnosis (journal, thrust, Kingsbury) under API 670 with sensor verification
  • Laser shaft alignment of turbine-generator trains with thermal growth compensation (API 686)
  • Casing leak testing + assembly torque verification per OEM specification
  • Performance testing under ASME PTC 6 with documented baseline + post-overhaul comparison

Equipment types

Turbomachinery families we service

Steam turbines

Industrial back-pressure, condensing + extraction turbines for cogeneration, refineries, petrochemical plants — 1 to 100 MW capacity range.

Gas turbines

Industrial gas turbines (aero-derivative + heavy-duty) for power generation + mechanical drive — service compatible with GE, Siemens, Solar, Pratt & Whitney.

Centrifugal pumps

Multi-stage process pumps, BB1/BB3/OH2 configurations per API 610 — impeller balancing, mechanical seal replacement, wear ring restoration.

Centrifugal compressors

Process compressors per API 617 — rotor cleaning, dynamic balancing, dry-gas seal diagnosis + bearing renewal.

Sectors served

Industrial sectors using turbomachinery

Sugar mill cogeneration

Back-pressure turbines coupled to synchronous generators driving sugar processing + electrical export to grid.

Oil refineries + petrochemical

Process steam turbines + mechanical-drive gas turbines under API specification + CFE LAPEM compliance.

Combined-cycle power plants

Gas + steam turbine trains in CCPP configuration with HRSG balance-of-plant equipment.

Industrial process plants

Cement, steel, paper, chemical — heavy-duty turbomachinery in 24/7 continuous service with limited shutdown windows.

Frequently asked questions

Do you service steam + gas turbines from multiple manufacturers?

Yes. TEMISA Power Gen is an independent multi-OEM workshop. We service steam turbines from GE, Siemens, Solar, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Elliott, Dresser-Rand and gas turbines from GE Vernova, Siemens Energy, Solar, Pratt & Whitney + aero-derivative units. We are not an authorized representative of any of these manufacturers (except TD Power Systems under formal Service Agreement).

What is dynamic balancing G2.5 and when is it required?

ISO 21940 G2.5 is the balance quality grade required for industrial turbines + electric motors. It limits residual unbalance to 2.5 mm/s peripheral velocity at the rotor center of mass. Required: after major rotor work (reblading, machining), after rotor relocation, after thermal events causing distortion. Our balancing machine handles rotors up to 60 tons + 6 m length.

Can you do hot-section inspection on gas turbines onsite?

Yes for combustion section + transition piece inspection. Turbine section + rotor work typically requires workshop access. Onsite work includes boroscopy, hot-spot mapping, combustor liner replacement, and minor balance corrections. Plan + scope quoted per request.
