Generator maintenance for GE aeroderivative turbine packages
Coordinate your generating package outage with a specific alternator scope. The generator nameplate identifies the machine to be serviced.

Scope starts with your equipment
LM2500, LM6000 and LMS100 are aeroderivative turbine families. Identify the coupled generator separately: manufacturer, model, rating, cooling and excitation. TEMISA evaluates assessment, maintenance, repair and rewinding of the electrical machine as an independent provider.
Two machines, one coordinated outage
Cross-check package information against alternator nameplate and drawings. Define who covers the turbine, generator, coupling and auxiliaries before finalising scope.
Operating history
Collect starts, hours, standby periods, alarms and test results. A turbine outage can help coordinate work but does not itself determine generator condition.
Component-specific proposal
Define stator, rotor, excitation and electrical auxiliary scope. Repair, rewinding and acceptance tests depend on findings and equipment documentation.
Turbine family identification: GE Vernova — LM2500, LM6000, LMS100. Verify the alternator manufacturer separately on its nameplate.
Documented experience

Does the turbine brand identify the generator?
Not necessarily. Request the alternator nameplate as well as turbine information. Do not assign ratings, cooling or excitation models from the package’s LM designation.
What does this service request cover?
Assessment of the electrical generator and excitation. Gas turbine activities are coordinated with the turbine specialist and separated from TEMISA’s scope in this proposal.
How is the schedule determined?
From scope, generator access, available spares, mobilisation and the plant window. Dates are confirmed in the proposal after reviewing those inputs.
Prepare your next outage
Send the nameplate and the issue
Include location, symptoms, history and available window. The proposal should define scope, deliverables, conditions and logistics.
