Scope starts with your equipment

TEMISA Power Gen assesses BRUSH turbogenerator maintenance, repair and rewinding as an independent provider. Confirm the BDAX model, rating and cooling system from the nameplate. A contaminated winding does not automatically require rewinding.

01

Winding assessment

Relate visual inspection, appropriate tests and history. Document contamination, insulation deterioration, support condition and evidence of movement or heating.

02

An evidence-based scope

Compare maintenance, local repair and rewinding against findings. Verify design and dimensions before defining materials and the insulation process.

03

Verification and records

Agree process checks, final tests and acceptance criteria. Retain results and recommendations for the generator’s next condition review.

Before scheduling service

Is TEMISA the manufacturer or an authorised BRUSH representative?

TEMISA provides independent multi-OEM service. The BRUSH name identifies equipment covered by the service and does not imply manufacturer affiliation or authorisation.

Is rewinding always necessary?

No. The decision depends on assessment. Cleaning, refurbishment or repair may be alternatives where condition and technical evaluation support them. The recommended scope is supported by findings and test results.

What is needed for a BRUSH BDAX proposal?

Readable nameplate photographs, full model, rating, voltage, rpm, cooling, excitation, latest results and symptoms. Add location and outage dates; do not infer specifications from a model family.

Prepare your next outage

Send the nameplate and the issue

Include location, symptoms, history and available window. The proposal should define scope, deliverables, conditions and logistics.
